Our Mission

The mission of NC Seaside Animal Rescue is to partner with local municipal shelters to end the overpopulation of companion animals in North Carolina through rescue, rehabilitation, and adoption while educating people about responsible pet ownership, animal advocacy, and topics related to animal welfare.

Dog & Cat Pals

Advocacy

We are dedicated to stepping up our advocacy efforts, which is by no means an easy feat. But through cooperation and community involvement, we believe we can facilitate progress in this area.

Rehabilitation

With this initiative, the goal is to support the welfare of animals in need. With the support of our dedicated community, our rehabilitation efforts go a long way. Learn more about this initiative and how you can help.

Transport

We have a fantastic team of rescue partners who work with us as a network. Often, we will pull animals from our local shelters and get in contact with one of our rescue partners. Once they have agreed to take the animal, we will set up transport for them to make it to their next destination. Transport is just one way we get animals out of the shelter.

Why Adopt

All animals at the shelters need a second chance. They are lost, surrendered, or left behind due to no fault of their own. You are giving them a new life in a loving home. There are not enough homes for all the animals born every year. Adopting from a shelter helps weaken the pet overpopulation cycle. Each year 8 to 12 million dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens are euthanized because there are not enough homes for them.
